Aims

Our aims are 1) to improve support for re-use, integration and synthesis of research and tools from across the increasingly wide range of disciplines that make up the AIED community and 2) to better support communication and uptake of AIED research beyond the community, particularly within mainstream education.

Specific objectives of this workshop are:
  1. to share knowledge of existing tools and practices and the ways these are being used to support reuse, integration and uptake of AIED research,
  2. to move towards envisioning and defining requirements for new and improved tools and approaches,
  3. to build a network of AIED researchers interested in taking these resources forward.
We will also discuss and explore the use of existing social networking services (e.g. LinkedIn, Academia.edu), bibliographic tools (e.g. Mendeley, CiteULike) and other resources that may be used to sustain and grow this community beyond the workshop at AIED2011.

If you are interested in these topics please consider attending and submitting a paper to the workshop.
